technology all around us

If you think about it technology is all around us! Ever since we were little its been there. Generation to generation and still improving today . It's crazy! For example  a regular wooden pencil to a mechanical pencil.
I remember in high school my teacher Mr. Coute told our class our kids will not have to carry backpacks and they will have ipads and that's it. And most likely the schools will provide them to the kids. Last year I actually found out that kindergartens and preschools are already now using ipads.
Now, I think of issues. Will they break? what if something goes wrong.

I choose to write about It Takes a Tribe. To me this writing is about college communities. From well- known to local. Stereotypes are made all over the world. Racism is also a problem. Being Loyal to a school, ethnic group, and religion is asked by all. All colleges have expectations and labels on students. Something that happens evey semester by students is on the first day of school or whatever everyone is quiet and attentive. However, a couple of days later students get familiar to each other and go about their day.After these few days cliques are made and a small community is formed. Clubs, sororities, fraternities, and etc. are  also different communities.

So today I decided to do the theme of art for my idenity project. As art in my eyes, dance, jewlery,crafts, tattoos, foods, animal prints, the enivroment, flowers, and colors. I collected all the pictures and put them on my computer. I have thoughts and reasons for why I choose these specific pictures.

Identity blog #1

When the word idenity is spoken, so many words come to mind. However, if someone asks me how I would define the word idenity, it would be as so. Idenity is culture, personality, and choices you make. Culture is who you are, where you come from, and personal values. Personality is who you choose to be. And, choices are made to who you want to seem to be by others and yourself. Over time anyone can make a difference or change in thier life.

An example listed in the story about identity were all the membership cards such as gym, library, and etc. cards. This idea has opended my eyes to how much there is in the world to tell who you are. Even pictures of yourself secretly hidden, in photo albums, on phones, on ipods, and on computers will remind and let people know who you are over the years.
